Borussia Dortmund announce Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions partnership
Ballspielverein Borussia 09 e. V. Dortmund, commonly known as Borussia Dortmund or BVB, have announced a partnership with Panasonic Heating & Cooling Europe, bringing it on board as an Official Partner.
The multi-year partnership, set to run until 2031, will see Panasonic provide the club with their energy-efficient heating, air conditioning, and cooling solutions. The two parties will work on projects at various BVB facilities, where Panasonic’s heat pump, air conditioning, and cooling systems will be integrated.
Benedikt Scholz, Director Internationalization & Commercial Partnerships at Borussia Dortmund, commented:
“In Panasonic, we have found a partner who shares our ambitions and supports us on this journey with innovative technologies. Together, we want to show that football can have an impact far beyond the pitch. That is precisely where the strength of this partnership lies.”
José Manuel Alves, Regional Director for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the UK and Ireland, Panasonic Heating & Cooling Europe, said:
“Borussia Dortmund is far more than just a football club. BVB stands for emotion, solidarity and a unique bond between the team and the fans. At the same time, we are united by our responsibility towards future generations. With our technologies, we aim to help make the club’s infrastructure more sustainable and support its decarbonisation targets. In this way, we combine top-class performance on the pitch with responsibility for the future.”
